Event Catering Group provides a wide range of services to cater for private and corporate clientele at homes, venues, marquees, boat trips and businesses. From personal occasions and parties, funerals and weddings to corporate entertaining, Christmas parties, business catering and hospitality.
We cater predominately in Surrey but facilitate London, Sussex, Kent, Berkshire, Hampshire and further afield on request. We have a wide range of services to compliment any formal and informal occasion.
Menus include:
Canapés, Bowl Food, Hog and Spit Roasts, Barbecues, Finger and Fork Buffets, Paellas, Dining and Banqueting menus.
Drinks Services include:
Unlimited Drinks Packages, Cash Bars, Various Bar Set ups, Wines, Draught and Ales, Cocktails, and packages to serve clients own drinks.
Event Services include:
Designated managers to create and coordinate events from Marquees and venue dressing, entertainment, themes etc. using our in-house services and our quality reliable suppliers.

Why did we start up our business?
|

After 9 years as the Operation Manager at St Georges Hill Golf Club I had reached the pinnacle of prestigious private golf clubs and went to set up the Event Catering Company since 2004. We look to exceed client's expectations with high quality food and service which has lead to growth and repeat business.

We are the only UK caterer to have achieved Gold in the green achiever scheme. We closely follow our Environmental Policy, Recycling Scheme and strict regulations, our clients are aware of how important it is for us to be sustainable and continue to be as green as possible. We focus largely on conserving resources whilst maintaining complete safety and using non-harmful chemicals and cleaning products. Whilst using these practices we are determined to never compromise on quality and value.

| I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the team.
It was a delight organising the party with you.
And then everything went like clockwork.
The chef was superb in pulling the kitchen together.
We had many complements on the food, which all went!
Also, I think the kitchen was cleaner after he left than it was to start, so that was magic.
The Gazebos worked exactly as planned, and with the sides on, the temperature was OK for sitting out until quite late.
The high tables and chairs out there were well used, again as hoped.
The bar lady was great keeping the bar going very smoothly, with drinks and ice and lemons.
That freed us up from having to keep glasses and stuff under control, so I could mingle without any effort.
And you kept that food coming and clearing away.
And the pick up next day was perfect.
It was a wonderful memorable event. |

| I was a guest at my brother’s wedding that you catered on Saturday. I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and all your staff. You really helped the day to run well and make sure everyone was feed and ‘watered’ well.
In all interactions I had with your staff they were polite, kind, professional and thoughtful. They worked tirelessly and were adaptable to changes, especially when the rain meant we all had to move inside at the last moment!
The food was delicious and the fact that you could provide such high quality food from a less than ideal kitchen area was amazing.

| Cannot recommend Event Catering Group enough! They catered our wedding with 150 guests - canapes, main meal, drinks, evening food and a bar in the evening. They were the best value caterers I found throughout Surrey but the service and quality of the food was incredible. Some of our guests commented to us that it was the best wedding food they had! They staff were all lovely and very professional, they catered for all our dietary needs and last minute changes and a lot of guests were having seconds (and some even thirds!)
We are so grateful to the whole team who contributed in making our wedding day the delight that it was. Thank you all! |

| We were very happy with the service provided for a 60th birthday garden party. Despite the constant rain on the day, our chef Jonathan was always hard working, friendly and gave excellent customer service. Each of the paella options was delicious and attracted many compliments from our party guests. |

| We booked the team at Event Catering Group for my 50th birthday celebrations. I loved the idea of having a paella pan - they didn't disappoint! We also had canapés served during the afternoon before the spectacle in the evening.
A huge thank you to the team, the food was amazing. Have had a number of friends comment on how wonderful the food was .... always a good sign.
We would definitely recommend. Can promise that any future catering requirements we have would definitely book again.
The real plus was that they were a local company - always good to support local businesses.

| We were very grateful to Darren and his Team who helped us out with bar staff for a works summer event we hosted at home. This is the second year we have used Darren and his Team, but this year we didn't leave a lot a lot of time to spare and they went out of their way to ensure they could get us someone to run our bar. The bar person was fantastic. Lovely, friendly and willing to help out with our event and made our colleagues feel very special with her personal touch and excellent service. She kept the bar running smoothly and left it all lovely, clean & tidy when she left. They have a great glass hire service too !
So grateful for all their help and in fact we are booking them again for a family BBQ to celebrate our Son's 18th birthday.

| Wow. What can I say about Event Catering Group. I can honestly say they have been an absolute dream to work with. From the very beginning of our wedding planning, our delicious tasting meal by the wonderful Darren to me constantly asking questions about how it all worked! (I do love an email) Michelle would always get back to me so quickly and every question I had was answered and no requirements were too much. We had to change parts of our wedding quite last minute but Michelle, Darren and the team were more than happy to assist with the changes with no problem but also offered ideas and assistance with everything along the way. Now for the wedding - the FOOD was incredible. We had so many people compliment how unique and amazing it was from the canapes, the wedding breakfast (Tapas and Paella) to the hog roast. The Waitressing staff were so professional and so friendly. Exactly what you want at your wedding!! I can not recommend them enough. | I was recommended event catering ltd by a friend who was very pleased with the food and service they provided for her 50th birthday party. As such I asked them to provide food for my 60th party.
I was absolutely delighted with the service and attention to detail I received. The staff could not have been more helpful and nothing was to much trouble.
On the evening of the party Lee the cook was on time and extremely helpful and accommodating. My friends were very complimentary about the food which was two paella dishes. The food was delicious .It was great not to have to worry about providing our own food when you knew it was being cooked out on the patio to a high standard. The food was served on boats that could be recycled along with the cutlery.

| Darren and his amazing team were the only choice for us when we were planning our wedding! So much so in fact that we disregarded any venues where we couldn’t bring in our own caterers! Darren and Michelle made the planning so easy; they were so relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. On the day, both food and service were exceptional. The canapes were sublime and the kids (and adults) loved being able to see the hog roast; they loved eating it even more! Almost a year on, our guests are still talking about the food and how friendly the staff were! The team went above and beyond in helping our guests; Crystal even helped distract an upset toddler with her phone during the speeches! Event Catering really are fantastic, professional, friendly and I would unreservedly reccommend them to anyone. |

| We first experienced the paella team at a friends anniversary party and decided to try them for our garden party rather than have a BBQ. The smell of the paella being cooked was very tantalising and everyone said how good it tasted, going back for seconds and even thirds! Lee cooked pasta and chicken goujons for the children, which went down very well. We would highly recommend them and will definitely be having the paella team again. |
